The perfect "Girls Night Out" weekend should include relaxation and fun with a view! This weekend would all be located in the middle of the Rocky Mountains in a small town that is known to have the largest hot springs pool in the world and many great spas to go with it, Glenwood Springs, CO! There should be nothing to think about or worry about. I think that the accommodations should be very warm and inviting. The hotel room should have a Jacuzzi and a fireplace for ultimate relaxation. There should be a full spa day that includes visiting the Hot Springs pool and the Vapor Caves. The spa package should be a full body massage, including facials, manicures, and pedicures.
After the spa day, a nice dinner in town would be great. The restaurant should be a local favorite that distinguishes itself from the rest. The other day of the weekend, I believe should be about fun. It would include white water rafting down the Colorado River or horseback riding through the mountains. It could also include a trip to the Glenwood Springs Adventure Park and the Fairy Caves.
I believe a wine tasting experience would top off the weekend. The wine tasting should be at a local winery in the area. If time permitted, I think that a carriage ride in Aspen, CO would be the defining moment during the trip. |
